We have just returned from a cruise on the Star Princess from Buenos Aires down to the Falkland Islands where I sat on a beach at Bluff Cove with the penquins and then on to the Antarctic Penninsular. The Antarctic is absolutely stunning. The scenery was out of this world.
To see untouched wilderness and hundreds of whales and penquins and seals swimming around the ship in the early morning was breathtaking.
I just hope it stays that way and does not get spoilt by visitors.
From there after 6 days we made our way back to Argentina (Ushuaia) around Cape Horn and then onto Punta Arena Chile before heading back to Montivideo and finally Buenos Aires. The whole trip was a mindblowing experience and if any of you get the chance to see it you should.
