Black Sea Cruise

My wife and I are seasoned cruisers, with Princess and P&O , also two forgetable with Thompsons. This was our first in one of Princess's smaller ships (650 passangers) and we both have decided that larger ships are more to our liking.
The cruise was from Athens to the Black Sea via Istanbul then to Rome calling at Santorini and Sorrento. A wonderful visit to Isstnbul then on to the Blacks ports , the weather might have spoilt the excursions but we were disappointed by the destinations. The weather improved and Santorini and Sorrento were a joy as ever.
Pacific Princess is a lovely ship but being fully mobile we found it too small for our liking, the lack of variety of shops, theatres and different bars was a disadvantage. For less mobile OK but for the fully fit give us a 2000 passanger ship.
The cabin was however the best yet. Food seems not to be as good as when we first cruised.
Final tip do not penny pinch when cruising pay as much as you can afford.

The food was dreadful, either cold, overcooked or tough.on the Black sea trip. I felt the crew were unhappy. too many nationalities, language difficulties. Was not compulsary to sanitise hands, I had to request it on entering main dining room as it was kept under Maitre d's desk He said nova virus was no longer a problem yet one of Princess ships had it on board last week. I will never travel Princess again, they are only interested in MONEY. It took me aged 70 on my own with heart condition 3 flights, an overnight stay at Heathrow from ROME and got home to south of Edinburgh 37hours from leaving ship in Rome, I was exhausted for weeks. I told the Purser about this she was rude and arrogant, it was my 27th. cruise and had never been spoken to like that.
