This was our first cruise and we loved it.
The Pacific Princess is quite a small ship which means that one of the nice things for us was bumping into people again whom we had met on deck, or on previous evenings, or on shore.
The food onboard was first class and our waiters (Mancel and Crispin) were excellent. Mancell entertained us with magic tricks and puzzles. The service was very efficient. We ate breakfast at the buffet which was very good. There was plenty of choice and the quality of the food was excellent. We had afternoon tea one day which was a real treat.
Our cabin was a balcony stateroom on deck 7 which was very nice. We had plenty of room to store our clothes. Our cabin stewardess (Naisy) was very friendly and helpful.
We felt that the price of some of the shore excursions was excessive. We had pre-booked the Corfu town on your own excursion. We thought that he port must have been some distance from the town as the cost of the excursion was $29 which was basically for a bus trip into town during which a guide chatted a bit. Once we were in the town we were on our own for 3 hours and then got the bus back to the ship. The port is less than 2 miles from the town so $29 for a bus to town was ridiculous.
We had champagne breakfast on board on the morning of my birthday. It arrived on 4 trays! It was really good and well worth the $28.
As it is a small ship the entertainment is quite limited. The ship's singers and dancers were good, but some of the other acts were not very good. The disco was always very quiet, which was a shame as the DJ played some great music. The band in the Pacific Lounge were very good.
I would highly recommend Princess and the Pacific Princess.

| Quality of Food | |
| Dining room food was excellent. Breakfast very good in the Panorma Buffet. | | Entertainment | |
| Enjoyed the Tribute Show by the ship's singers and dancers. Did not enjoy the show by the American comedian. | | Shore Excursions | |
| Enjoyed the Monaco Palace and Cathedral tour.
Corfu town on your own - complete rip off. | | Staff | |
| Mancel, Junior Waiter. Mancel was a bundle of fun. He was very efficient but also made time to entertain the diners at his tables with tricks and puzzles. | | Children's Facilities | n/a |
| | Onboard Activities | |
| This is a smaller ship so if you are looking for non-stop activities you may find a larger ship more suitable. That said, the ship had enough for us. | | Cabins | |
| Our cabin was really nice, very clean and we had plenty of room. | | Overall Rating | |
