just returned from a fantastic cruise from rome to venice. the ship is honestly jaw dropping, everything you've dreamed of and more. we had an interior cabin on deck 10 (caribe) and it had a really confortable queen size bed, plenty of storage space ie walk in wardrobe and plenty of draws etc. bathroom with shower which was compact but did the job it was designed to do. cabin steward was brilliant, nothing too much trouble for him and our cabin was immaculate every day. we chose anytime dining which worked really well for the 4 of us, if you arrived at 8 to 8.45pm you had approx 15 to 20 minutes wait but after that time you were straight in. the wait was ok gave you time for pre dinner drinks or a brouse around the shops. we ate at sabitini's 1 night and although it was ok, i don't think it was worth the sur charge. the buffet was fantastic, plenty of choice and the service excellent. we did'nt go on any organised trips, but it is very easy to see all the sights under your own steam, our favourite places were monte carlo, santorini, mykanos, sorrento and corfu town. most of the time the ship docks directly into the harbour so that you can walk in but on occasions a tender was required which was quite an experience. activities on the ship during the day is low key, mainly relaxing around the pools, we went into the sanctuary twice at a cost of £5 pp for the afternoon. this was excellent as it's for adults only, really relaxing you can stay in the sun or go into the shade also they provide you with ice cold flannels and water regularly.the evening entertainment is very good, we watched a show most nights, we tended to go for the 10.30pm show after dinner as we had no trouble finding seats. the 8.30 show always seemed to be full. after the show everyone seemed to disappear off to bed as mosy of the bars were empty, which was a shame because all of the bars had some sort of entertainment ie piano player, comic or singers, most playing to empty rooms. we also watched 2 movies under the stars which is a brilliant concept with sun beds converted to comfy loungers with blankets provided and pop corn, sweets and cookies with milk, every night it was packed. all in all i would recommend this ship to anyone, nothing at all to complain about.
