Q: We are cruising the Med next year on the Grand Princess, and are wondering how many laps of the Promenade deck would be 1 mile - on the Sea Princess 3 laps is a mile. Or is the Grand that big that 1 lap may suffice?!

A mile is a mile i.e. 1760 yards. do as many laps as you feel up to and enjoy the laps & the food. NG

I am on the Grand Princess at this moment and the sign says 2.7 laps is equal to 1 mile.

I thought three times round the promenade deck equals one mile on the Grand Princess.
