Q: hi, going on the diamond princess to southeast asia and china in october, can anyone tell me if the weather is nice and hot then and what the places are like that you visit.what is the diamond princess like too. thanks

hi we did the trip in oct 2005 and in bejing it was -6 it was cold but as you progress the weather gets warmer and then hot the ship was really busy at the beginning due to the cold but as it got warmer you never saw anybody as they were on deck,it really is a trip of a lifetime,it is the best trip we have ever done,we have done 17 cruises and that one is the most memorable all the places you go are outstanding ,i can still smell and see all,i envy you going and we never go anywhere twice.have a super time..

we are also doing this trip in oct bangkog to beijing is it easy to do the trips on your own

hi its me again on reflection in bejing and xian take the tours as you might miss out ..We took a local taxi in korea,thailand,japan we did on our own as it is easy to get around ,we went to nagasaki ,maylasia we did a shuttle in but it was friday and shops were shut but the market was different....if you want any more info let me know and i will find out what i can as i write a travel diary....... you will really enjoy it it is a trip of a lifetime

hi sorry about the delay we have just returned of a cruise , we would suggest you do the trips as the history, you need a guide and it will probabley be a one off trip and you would hate to miss any of it, it really is something else, enjoy all of it and absorb it like a sponge, it still is the best trip we have ever done.

we did this cruise 2 years ago October/Novenber and the weather was very warm apart from bejing and 2 japanees ports which were sunny but cooler
