Well it will be our first cruise in Dec 08 and i've bought 3 glam dresses for the formal nights have we have got 3 . Got a black suit, black trousers and just loads of tops which are dressey ones. I've got three pair of sparkley sandles which can mix and match with out fits. You'll be fine like i will i was dreading it at first willl i look out of place, but spoken to some people that have been on them and they said i'll be fine. Get some fashion jewelery and you'll be fine

SOME LADIEA WORE on formal nights and even the other nights ladies seem to really dress up and look wonderful.I personaly did not take enough dressing up clothes on our first cruise and wished i had taken a bit more glam and bling. just go for it and enjoy it all because the dressing up is fun . after this princess cruise we would never want to do the cruise for people who dont do cruising! just wear something really smart for dinner and you be okay!!! ps husband struggled he only had 2 pair tidy trousers 4 2 wk cruise, i will pack 4 him on next cruise!!! S

Most people do join in on the formal evenings,it so nice to see so many making an effort, but if your really not into this I dont think you need to worry. It could be though when you see so many getting their glad rags on you would enter into the spirit. We love the Sea Princess and are going to the Carribean in November. Whatever you decide I'm sure you will have a great time Happy Cruising

mainly cocktail dresses for formal nights and smart dresses or trousers on other nights....I usually take black silky trousers and various tops for non-formal nights and little black dress for formal. Just really what you would wear out for an evening meal at home I think...Hope this helps...we've been twice on Sea Princess and liked it very much.
